Coliseum Station: San Leandro Street repaving December 2-3
San Leandro Street will be repaved in front of the Coliseum Station from December 2-3/2024. This work will take place in phases.
Phase 1 will take place on Monday Dec. 2nd, with the following changes:
- The east side of San Leandro St. (closest to the BART entrance) will be closed entirely.
- All northbound traffic will be diverted onto 75th Ave, left on Snell St., and left on 69th Ave returning to San Leandro St.
- Passenger loading (except Accessible Loading) will take place on Snell St. next to the BART entrance
- Accessible Loading and Parking will take place at the Amtrak Station parking lot on 73rd Ave. You can reach it by using southbound San Leandro St. and turning right on 73rd Ave.
- All buses, for both directions of travel, will stop on Southbound San Leandro Street.
Phase 2 will take place on Tuesday Dec. 3rd, with the following changes:
- The west side of San Leandro St. (farther from the BART entrance) will be closed entirely.
- All southbound traffic will be diverted onto 69th Ave, right on Snell St., and right on 75th Ave returning to San Leandro St.
- Passenger loading, accessible loading, and accessible parking will return to their normal locations on Northbound San Leandro St.
- All buses, for both directions of travel, will stop on Northbound San Leandro St.
Additional work, including signage and roadway striping will take place beyond these dates, but will have minimal impact on getting to and from the station.
