Elevator floor replacement West Oakland 11/7-11 (Updated)

From 11/7 to 11/11 we will replace the floors on the West Oakland Station elevator to the platform that serves trains to Richmond, Fremont, Pittsburg/Bay Point, and Dublin/Pleasanton.

We will be upgrading the splash guards and flooring in the elevator to prevent liquid from flowing under the floor and to make cleaning the elevator easier. 

There will be no elevator service to the platform while the work is going on. If you need to use an elevator for access, you will have to go to an adjacent station. We will have a lift van standing by to take you to the nearest station. 

If you arrive at any station without a working elevator, you may contact a Station Agent to arrange for a lift van to take you to a nearby station with a working elevator.
