Parking reconfigurations at Daly City, Dublin, and Colma Stations

In the next few weeks, parking areas at three stations will be reconfigured to better serve both Daily Fee and Reserved Parking customers. The number of parking stalls dedicated to Reserved Parking will be reduced to better match the demand for Reserved Parking, and the stalls will be consolidated into fewer garage levels/lots to improve clarity regarding the boundaries of the reserved parking area. Data shows there is still ample parking for current Reserved Parking uses, and staff will monitor and adjust areas as needed.

  • Daly City: The first and second floors of the garage are currently split into Daily Fee and Reserved Parking. The first floor will be converted into entirely Reserved Parking and the second floor will all be Daily Fee Parking. This will reduce the total amount of space dedicated to Reserved Parking, while improving clarity regarding where Reserved Parking is located.
  • Dublin/Pleasanton: The small surface lot outside the garage is currently split into Reserved and Daily Fee Parking. It will be converted to all Daily Fee Parking, along with the third floor of the garage.
  • Colma: The first floor of the garage is currently split into Reserved and Daily Fee. It will be converted to all Daily Fee Parking. Reserved Parking will remain available on the second level.

In addition to these changes, staff will be installing improved and updated parking signage at several stations including Daly City, Dublin, Colma, San Bruno, South San Francisco, Fruitvale and Pleasant Hill.
