19th St/Oakland elevator out of service December 14 to December 20

The concourse to platform elevator at the south end (17th St) of the 19th St/Oakland Station will be out of service from Wednesday, December 14th until the end of revenue service on Monday, December 19th while crews repair and replace the terrazzo flooring in front of the platform entrance to the elevator.

As an alternative, riders can take the new elevator at the north end (20th St) of the station to travel between the concourse and platform levels. The street to concourse level elevator at the south end of the station will remain open. The concourse to platform elevator at the south end of the station will reopen at the start of service on Tuesday, December 20th.

If you arrive at any station and find that the elevator(s) are out of service, you may contact a Station Agent to arrange for a lift van to take you to a nearby station with a working elevator.
