Union City Station improvements require single tracking 7/18/21

A station improvement project is underway at Union City station that will require some instances of single tracking on weekend days this spring and summer. The next day service will be reduced to one track in Union City on Sunday, July 18. Riders should expect delays of 10-15 minutes. Additional dates for weekend single tracking for this project will be posted here when finalized.

The latest work includes professional detail station cleaning, construction barrier modifications, signage installations, roof installations, and intumescent painting of structural steel. Long-term improvements at Union City include plans to install new stairs and two new escalators.
