El Cerrito del Norte: AC Transit and WestCat Bus Stops Return to Station 3/28, 4/4/2021
AC Transit and WestCat buses will move back into the El Cerrito del Norte Station over the next two weekends as follows:
Starting Sunday, March 28th:
AC Transit routes 7, 76, 376, 72 to Hilltop Mall, 72M to Point Richmond, 72R to Contra Costa College, and 800.
Stops will be relocated to the west side of the station, outside the new southern station entrance, as shown on the map below.
Starting Sunday, April 4th:
WestCat routes JX, JPX, JL, JR will be relocated to the west side of the station, outside the northern station entrance
AC Transit routes 72, 72M, and 72R to Oakland, 684, 800 to San Francisco will be relocated to the east side of the station outside the new southern station entrance.
Paratransit has been relocated to the bus aisle adjacent to the station on the west side, so that it does not require crossing a bus lane.
With the station modernization project complete, these bus stop locations are anticipated to be the final stops. Thank you for your continued patience over the last few years as buses have moved to accommodate construction activities.
