Access Changes at Union City Station

Between February 1 and February 15, 2021, our contractor will begin a new phase of construction to improve customer access to Platform 2 heading to SF Airport/Millbrae/Richmond at Union City Station. We will replace the existing escalator with a new flight of stairs. The work should take approximately 5 months to complete and will happen between 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. The work will not interfere with access to and from the trains as the newly completed south end of the station with a new escalator will be available for your use. The access to the existing stairs will remain available throughout the work.

You may experience noise and vibration while the work is happening. Our goal is to finish the work as quickly as possible.
