Escalator at new Powell Street Station Canopy closed overnight 8/22

We will be making repairs to the broken glass panel in the canopy at Powell Street Station (north side of Market and Ellis) starting at 9pm on Thursday, 8/22. For safety, we will have to close the full entrance (including stairs) temporarily during the repairs.
The contractor will make every effort to return the escalator to service as soon as possible. We expect repairs to be completed for the start of service on Friday morning.
