Escalator for the Oakland Airport Station Temporarily Out of Service Update: Back in Service

Update: The escalator has returned to service.

The ‘Down Direction’ escalator at the Oakland International Airport Station is out of service for repair (step chain replacement).  The unit is expected to be returned to service April 25.  The other escalator will remain in operation and will operate in the ‘up’ direction. Customers with large or heavy bags are encouraged to avoid the stairs and instead use the elevator to reach the plaza level from the station.
