BAY EX Regional Emergency Response Exercise at Millbrae Station 1/29

BART will be participating in a Regional Emergency Response Exercise, BAY EX, sponsored by the California National Guard Weapons of Mass Destruction-Civil Support Team (WMD-CST) and the FBI. This is a Full Scale exercise at five locations in the Bay Area including Alcatraz Island, a BART train at Millbrae Station, Golden Gate Fort Baker, Oakland Coliseum, and on a Golden Gate Bay Ferry. The Exercise will be held 28 Jan - 31 Jan 2019.

On January 29, 2019 from 10am to 3pm, you will see activity at the Millbrae Station on the out-of-service platform—there will be no delays to service. Passengers can expect to see multiple agencies and equipment on the out-of-service platform and in parking areas (see map). There will be additional parking available on the 5th floor of the garage for customers. 

Signs will be posted announcing the exercise. 

Please do not be concerned if you see specialized response equipment and personnel.
