New passenger loading and mid-block pedestrian crossing at Walnut Creek Station

As part of the improvements at the Walnut Creek Station, a NEW Mid-Block Pedestrian Crossing with a traffic signal has been installed at N. California Boulevard and a NEW Passenger Loading area has been created on the east side of N. California Boulevard between Ygnacio Valley Road and Pringle Avenue. The new area is available for passenger loading 24 hours a day. 
  
Station access for pedestrians is available using the signaled mid-block crossing. Click here for a .pdf of the map.

Please continue to follow instructions from work crews, BART employees, and comply with signs and fencing around work areas. There will be no interruption in BART service.
