Power cable replacement will cause late night delays south of Lake Merritt Station Update

June 28 Update: Work has been completed early.

We will be replacing the power cable for our system south of Lake Merritt Station during some nights this summer. This is vital work to insure a reliable power supply for our trains. We need to single-track trains through the area for the safety of our crew. The work cannot be accomplished during our normal non-revenue work times.

The work continues each night this week after 10pm through Sunday, July 1. Expect delays of 20-40 minutes.
