Powell St. Station corridor temporarily narrowed 5/30

On Tuesday, May 30, 2017, we will narrow the hallway that leads to the exits at Market & 4th Street in Powell Street Station. There will be temporary barriers in place while the contractor constructs a more permanent structure. This process will take approximately two weeks. 

This is to provide a safe work area for contractors who will be installing electrical lines to support the work on the new ceiling and lighting systems that are being installed at the station. The stairs and escalators in this location will not be blocked and a 10 foot wide path will still be available for you access. Please obey instructions from employees and contractors. 

This barrier will be up for the duration of the project—at least until the end of this year.
