Civic Center platform-level elevator out of service

The platform-level elevator at the 7th & Market Street end of Civic Center Station remains out of service for emergency repairs. Originally BART was anticipating the work to be complete on April 27, 2016 but the elevator remains out of service while staff works to replace a faulty brake coil.  Work that has already been completed on this elevator includes replaced doors and an overhaul of the motor.
