Service changes between 24th St. and Daly City stations Nov. 15-17
Beginning Saturday, November 15 through Monday, November 17, a variety of BART crews will mobilize at the Daly City Station to work continuously through the weekend. Work shall commence on Saturday, November 15 at 1:30am after passenger service ends and will continue working through to Monday, November 17 at 4:30am before the start of passenger service.
Crews will complete a large list of repairs and improvements from mechanical, electrical, structural and grounds work to improve the station facility and grounds.
Work will take place all over the station – from the trackway, to escalators, to the garage, buildings and grounds. The blitz work weekend approach has proven effective and efficient in recent months and allows BART crews to complete a large amount of work in a short period of time.
To keep delays to a minimum this weekend, we will only operate one service between 24th Street Station and Daly City Station. Yellow Line--Pittsburg/Bay Point and SFO/Millbrae trains--will operate on their regular Saturday/Sunday schedule with minor delays.
On Saturday Blue and Green Line--Dublin/Pleasanton and Fremont trains--that normally go to Daly City Station will stop at 24th Street Station. On Sunday Blue Line Dublin/Pleasanton trains will stop at 24th Street Station.
Service between Daly City and 24th Street will be provided by one (1) train every 20 minutes instead of three (3) on Saturday and two (2) on Sunday.
Dublin/Pleasanton and Fremont line passengers travelling to and from Glen Park, Balboa Park and Daly City will need to transfer to the Pittsburg/Bay Point line trains at 24th Street Station.
