Street-level elevator out-of-service at Civic Center Sept. 26 - Oct. 3, 2011

We apologize for the inconvenience that will be caused by the street-level elevator repair at Civic Center Station from Sept. 26 through Oct. 3, 2011. The hydraulic plunger assembly needs to be replaced in order to ensure more reliable operation of the elevator. It is anticipated, barring any unforeseen complications, that the work will take 1 week to complete. While the repairs are going on, the elevator will not be available for use. Passengers who rely on the elevator should plan to use a different station while work is going on. We hope that once the work is complete, it will result in many more years of trouble-free operation.
