Take BART to the Black and White Ball

There will be dancing in the streets of San Francisco’s Civic Center this weekend on Saturday, May 22, just steps from the Civic Center BART station. Bay Area music lovers will be donning their finest and coming out for The San Francisco Symphony’s Black & White Ball.

The evening begins with a concert featuring Tony Bennett and k.d. lang at Davies Symphony Hall. The party continues with five stages in the War Memorial complex with music from Kool & The Gang, Tiempo Libre, Faith Evans and more, a 14-piece musical tribute to Michael Jackson and an all-female Led Zeppelin tribute band. Feast on tasty hors d'oeuvres, sip signature cocktails under the night sky, and get ready for the clock to strike midnight for the legendary midnight surprise—a Black & White Ball tradition!

Those purchasing the concert ticket should note that the Tony Bennett and k.d. lang performance will begin at 8 p.m. For Party Pass ticket-holders, the Ball starts at 9 p.m.
