WHAT ARE THE COMMANDS?
They're all below and they're pretty intuitive. Plus the system is "learning" new commands. You can also suggest a new command if you want.

DOES IT COST ANYTHING?
It depends on your mobile plan. Standard text messaging rates will apply (check with your service provider), but this is not a premium service so there's no charge from BART.

WILL IT WORK WITH MY MOBILE DEVICE?
If you can send and receive text messages it should work. Check with your provider if you're not sure. BART's service works with all major US carriers including Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Sprint/Nextel, T-Mobile, Virgin, US Cellular, Boost Mobile, Alltel, and more.

COMMANDS
Format your message like "bart 12th" or the keyword "bart" plus one of the commands below. It's not case sensitive. Send the keyword + command to 878787 (save that short code to your contacts for quick reference).

NOTE: This is a only a partial list! If you use the full station name or keyword, or another common abbreviation, it'll probably work! The system is "learning" new commands every day.
