Online open house for draft Berkeley-El Cerrito Corridor Access Plan live through 1/8/23

BART has launched its third and final online open house and survey to seek community feedback on the public draft of the Berkeley-El Cerrito Corridor Access Plan (Draft Corridor Access Plan).

Community input is requested through January 8, 2023 from BART riders and community members living or working near BART stations before homes are built on Berkeley and El Cerrito rider parking lots.

View the online open house and the take the survey through Sunday, January 8, 2023.

This third and final online open house is an important follow up to the previous two online open houses (summer 2021 and spring 2022) during which community members learned about the plan in addition to providing input on their access needs and on potential strategies for getting to and from BART.  This third online open house gives BART riders and community members the ability to provide input on the Draft Corridor Access Plan. The Corridor Access Plan will be used by BART and its partner cities to implement projects and programs that help riders get to and from BART when homes are built on the El Cerrito Plaza, North Berkeley, and Ashby rider parking lots.

This online open house provides tools like those used for in-person meetings. Visitors can move between the virtual “rooms” to learn more about timelines for the transit-oriented developments and community input received so far as well as to review the Draft Corridor Access Plan. Background information can be found at the first and second online open houses, links to which are in the “Welcome” – “How this open house works” subsection.

This online open house includes a feature to translate the content into multiple languages. Additional language assistance services can be provided for the online open house and survey by calling (510) 464-6752.
