Station Modernization Continues at El Cerrito Del Norte--Restrooms Closed 8/31

As part of the El Cerrito Del Norte modernization project, contractors will close the restrooms on Monday, August 31 so they can be demolished and rebuilt. Two temporary public restrooms will be available on the east side of the station (there will be a third that is not available to the public). Signs will guide you to the new location and the restrooms will be Accessible. See the map below.

The restrooms will be closed through the completion of the project in early 2021.

The contractor will create safe, ADA compliant pathways through the construction area.

We are prioritizing this work now, when ridership is low to minimize impacts to passengers.
