Farmers' market at Glen Park Station extended through November

The Pacific Coast Farmers' Market Association (PCFMA) has been holding a farmer’s market in the BART Glen Park Station parking lot since Sunday, May 15, 2011. The market will be extended through the first three weekends in November on the 6th, 13th and 20th. No parking is allowed in the lot while the market is in operation. This effort is supported and sponsored by the Glen Park Merchant's Association.

The PCFMA is widely known throughout the Bay Area and this market provides Glen Park residents access to locally produced organic food which will supplement the extraordinary food and dining options already available in the community.

The market is open from 10 am to 2 pm every Sunday from May 15, 2011, to the third weekend in November. Up to 30 vendors participate. The parking lot is closed between 8 am and 4 pm to allow for vendor set up before the market and clean up after the market. PCFMA is responsible for cleaning and maintenance associated with the market.

We welcome PCFMA and the Glen Park Farmers' Market to the neighborhood and look forward to its success. We apologize for any inconvenience to Sunday BART riders.
