Entering Montgomery St. Station

There are three levels below the street at Montgomery Street Station. The first level is the concourse. The second level is the train platform for boarding the Muni trains. The third level is the train platform for boarding BART trains.
Two separate elevators are needed to get from the street to the BART train platform.
The elevator is located on the corner of Market Street and Sutter Street. Press "C" for concourse level.
On the concourse level, travel approximately 100 feet to your left to the train platform elevator located outside the paid area.
The platform elevator will take you down two levels: The second level is to the Muni platform and the third level is to the BART platform. The platform elevator buttons are labeled "C" for concourse, "M" for Muni and "BA" for the BART platform.
A prototype fare gate now encloses the elevator at the platform level to bring the elevator into the paid area.
At the BART train platform level, you will be at the far end of the platform. San Francisco, San Francisco (SFO), Millbrae bound trains to your right and Richmond, Pittsburg/Bay Point, Dublin/Pleasanton, Warm Spring/South Fremont bound trains to your left.
Exiting Montgomery St. Station
The train platforms at Montgomery Street Station are located three levels below the street.
Two separate elevators are needed to get from the train platform to the street.
Exiting from San Francisco Airport (SFO), Millbrae bound trains the elevator will be towards the rear of the trains at the far end of the train platform. Press “C” for concourse level and you will go up two levels to the concourse level passing the Muni level.
Exiting from East Bay bound trains the elevator will be towards the front of the trains at the far end of the train platform. Press “C” for concourse level and you will go up two levels to the concourse level passing the Muni level.
On the concourse level, travel approximately 100 feet to your right from the train platform located outside the paid area. Press “S” for street level.
When exiting the street elevator, you will be on the corner of Market Street and Sutter Street.
