BART will be running a new schedule with minor adjustments starting next Monday, June 8, in anticipation of the Milpitas and Berryessa station openings scheduled on Saturday, June 13.

Extra commute trains on Yellow Line

Beginning Monday, June 8, BART will add 3 trains to the morning and afternoon commute on the Yellow Line between Pleasant Hill to Daly City. In the morning, the 3 added trains will originate at Pleasant Hill at 6:16am, 6:46am, 7:16am, create a 15 minute frequency from 6am to 7:30am on our busiest line. In the afternoon, the 3 added trains will originate at Daly City at 3:55 pm, 4:15 pm and 4:45 pm, creating a 15-minute frequency between 4pm and 5pm.

For morning commuters looking to take advantage of the extra service, there is plenty of parking at Pleasant Hill in the early morning hours.

Added trains starting at Pleasant Hill at 6:16am, 6:46am, 7:16am

Added Yellow Line trains starting at Daly City at 3:55pm, 4:25pm, 4:55pm

With the new schedule, BART continues to maintain current base train frequencies of 30 minutes on weekdays, 20 minutes on Saturdays and 24 minutes on Sundays due to low ridership levels as a result of COVID-19. BART continues to monitor ridership data each day to determine how long these service hours will be in effect. As part of BART's 15-step Welcome Back plan, BART will extend the hours of 15-minute frequencies as businesses allow for staggered shifts as to help BART achieve social distancing for riders inside its train cars.
