Early Bird Express service changes coming 12/16
Beginning Monday, December 16, 2019, Early Bird Express service will discontinue five trips due to low ridership.
Route 710 between Fremont Station and 20th Street and Broadway in Oakland (via Bay Fair) will be eliminated (two trips northbound and one trip southbound) and both eastbound Route 705 trips from the Salesforce Transit Center to 20th Street and Broadway in Oakland will no longer be in operation. Westbound 705 will remain in service from 20th Street and Broadway to the Salesforce Transit Center.
Outreach teams will be at the Fremont Station and at the 20th St and Broadway bus zone in Oakland on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 and Friday, December 13, 2019. Staff will meet arriving and departing Early Bird Express buses on both days to notify riders and answer questions about the changes.
