Part of one entrance at 12th Street/City Center Station closed temporarily UPDATE

6/24/2020 Update: Once the soffit was opened up fully, more extensive damage was discovered.  This repair will take additional time to complete. The area will remain closed until mid-August. We apologize for the inconvenience.

After BART closes at 1am on Monday, February 24, the 1221 building management company will temporarily close a portion of the JB Williams Plaza entrance to our 12th Street/City Center Station. They will be repairing the soffit (overhang) above the entrance. The closure is for safety because of the work overhead and should take approximately 3 months.

Starting on Tuesday, February 25, the work hours are Monday-Friday between 6am and 2pm. There will be some noise and dust, but the management company is taking steps to reduce the impact.

Please see the map provided by the management company for the location of the closure below.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
