BART Police are seeking the public’s help in locating 18-year-old Jabrie Bennett, who is the main suspect in the Jan. 19, 2013, deadly shooting at the Bay Fair BART station.

BART Police Chief Kenton Rainey today released Bennett’s picture with the hope the public can help identify his whereabouts.

Bennett should be considered armed and dangerous.  He is approximately 5’ 6”, with brown eyes, black hair and a slim build.

If Bennett is located, please contact the local police department, dial 9-1-1 or contact the BART Police Department at 510-464-7000.

Two other suspects from the incident are already in custody and pose no danger to the public.

At approximately 12:21pm on Jan. 19th, 2013, Bennett opened fire at a group of males inside the bus zone at the Bay Fair Station, killing Kenneth Lee Seets, an innocent bystander and not the intended target.
