Temporary bus stop changes designated near Pleasant Hill Station for construction

On Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27, construction crews will need to close Coggins Drive and the Bus Intermodal to complete the new Bus Intermodal facility. Northbound Coggins Drive will be closed at Oak Street and temporary bus stops will be designated as crews do concrete work that weekend.

TEMPORARY BUS STOPS
The County Connection bus lines (311 & 316) that service the station on weekends will be temporarily relocated. Please see the map (.pdf) for the locations of those temporary stops. Normal service for all bus routes will be reestablished on Monday, June 28, 2010.

COGGINS DRIVE CLOSURE
If you’re driving to or from the station, please note that the existing “Passenger Drop-Off” area on the west side of the station will be affected by the work and street closure. During the weekend of June 26 and 27, traffic will flow one way (see map .pdf). Drivers approaching the station from the south using Coggins to D Street to drop off passengers will instead continue on Oak Street one block past Coggins to Wayne Drive, turn right on Wayne and proceed to the front of the station where you may drop off passengers. Upon leaving the station, drive on D and follow the detour signs to exit. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the map if you plan to use the station that weekend. Coggins Drive will reopen to normal use on Monday, June 28, 2010, at 5:30 a.m.

The construction work is part of the improvements associated with the adjacent Transit Village project. We appreciate your cooperation and patience during this construction and apologize for any inconvenience this street closure may cause. For questions or concerns, please contact Walter Gonzales, BART Government and Community Relations, at (510) 464-6428.
