BART to run Saturday service on President's Day

BART will operate on a regular Saturday schedule on President's Day, Monday, February 18, 2008. Service will begin at 6 a.m. and run until midnight on all five lines. BART's Administration Office will be closed in observance of the federal holiday.

"While service starts two hours later on President's Day, we want to remind the public that the new BART schedule that's in effect offers 33% more service after 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and all the time on Sunday," said BART Board President Gail Murray. "So even though we'll be on a Saturday schedule, we'll have the same frequency of trains customers enjoy on a non-holiday."

Weekday and weekend train schedules are available at all BART stations. Riders can also get travel information by calling 510 465-BART (510 465-2278), using BART's online QuickPlanner.
